Patient Management System – Backend
Work Summary
A microservices-based Patient Management System backend built with Spring Boot, Docker and PostgreSQL.
The Challenge
The aim is to design a production-style healthcare backend with independent services, secure access and event-driven communication, and to simulate cloud deployment locally.
- API Gateway with load balancing and JWT security.
- REST and gRPC communication between services.
- Kafka event workflows and integration tests.
- AWS LocalStack and Infrastructure as Code to simulate deployment.
The Solution
